


Hi, I’m Arina—a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a heart full of passion for nutrition, wellness, and mindful eating. My story isn’t just about food; it’s about transformation, resilience, and finding light through challenges.
Like so many young women, my journey with nutrition began in high school, getting caught up in the yo-yo dieting culture and restrictive eating. I counted every calorie, labeled foods as “good” or “bad,” and found myself spiraling from all the conflicting nutrition advice and food guilt.
When I moved to university, those struggles followed me. I watched my friends eat freely and enjoy life without fixating on food, while I felt like I was stuck in a cycle of stress and control. I felt alone, like I was the only one who couldn’t crack the code to a healthy, happy relationship with food.
One day, my roommates and I were chatting about our futures, and I shared my fascination with human physiology and how food fuels our bodies. My roommate paused, looked at me, and said, “Why don’t you check out the food and nutrition program?” I chuckled, brushing it off with, “Is that even a profession?” But that conversation sparked something in me. Curiously, I started researching and discovered the profession of dietetics. This wasn’t just a career—it was a calling, a vision I could feel lighting up my soul. I switched my degree the next chance I got and never looked back.
But my journey didn’t end there. Studying nutritional sciences was both eye-opening and challenging. I had to unlearn the myths about food I’d carried for years and replace them with evidence-based scientific knowledge. It wasn’t easy—there were moments of doubt, frustration, and mental exhaustion. But through it all, my passion for nutrition and human physiology kept me going. My struggles weren’t a dead end; they were the spark that lit my path.
Today, as a Registered Dietitian consultant, I don’t just tell people what to eat—I guide them toward a sustainable, guilt-free approach to nutrition. Building a healthy, balanced relationship with food rooted in confidence, knowledge, and self-awareness.
